Last meeting and next meeting June 30 for Clinton County, PA

Looking for a Tea Party? We the People of Clinton County are a non-partisan, non-profit group of Americans in the early stages of a grass roots movement. As Americans we are frustrated, tired and concerned with all the astronomical spending coming out of Washington. We are ordinary citizen's looking and working for real changes on the Hill.

Our last meeting held, June 16, was held by the pool. We enjoyed listening to the members who attended Williamsport's Flag Day Parade on June 14. It was a unique day to celebrate one of the symbols of our country and all things patriotic. As the aired cooled we moved into the covered porch area for our next order of business which was to start plans for future tea parties for this summer and fall. Discussion was held on the healthcare reform issues the Congress is working on and how it might affect us, bad and good. Discussion also included some of the targeted cuts to medicaid/medicare and how it will affect those currently on these programs.

This is not about Democrat or Republican, nor is it about Left VS. Right. This about keeping American a Sovereign Nation. It's about keeping our Constitution and our freedoms in place.

It's about remembering our founding fathers struggles and judgments to keep America on a proper path. Many of us feel the changes coming are NOT in American's best interest.

Join our group and take a stand for what is best for America... for yourself...for your children...for your neighbors.

Flag Day event in Williamsport, PA

This event is scheduled for June 14th, at 5:30 pm in Williamsport Pa corner of Hepburn and W. 4th street. Look for the Don't tread on Me sign/banner. This is a celebration of America's flag and Patriotism. They have registered as a goup and will display Red, White and Blue decor. So dress up in your patriotic colors and join the parade with this group. This is more of a rally than a protest so keep your signs should reflect love of flag, constitution and country and NOT about Obama.
